6. OLD BUSINESS:
a. Royal
Aloha Medallion: Copies of a revised application form
for the Aloha Medallion were distributed for comment.
With the possible ending of the festivals on the Big
Island and Maui, the Royal Aloha Medallion application
form has become obsolete. Bill Yoeman noted that his
intent is to renew interest in special dances on the Big
Island and to continue holding the Hot Foot Stomp.
After discussion it was moved, seconded, and unanimously

include the festivals and special dances, but that if
there is no festival on any given island in any given
year, then any dance on that island would qualify for
the Royal Aloha Medallion.
